You can choose the quality of thoughts and speed of thoughts.
Our mind goes through 60,000 thoughts per day. 95% are what we had yesterday. But we are the incharge of this body. I can choose positive thoughts or negative thoughts. Practice to choose the right thoughts and direct them in the right direction. Thought are very powerful.
Negativity of this world is so strong that our thoughts have become negative too.
We do not realize that we wound yourself by thinking how funny this person is ( you are feeling happy)and next minute we start to look at their weaknesses and a minute after we are feeling negative.
Let us try changing this negative thought.
Look at the person and try to look at their pluses by directing your thoughts in the positive direction. Look at her as your brother or sister. Remember, every person has goodness within them. I am a soul and so are they. Relate to them as a part of your family. Sit in silence and change quality of your thoughts to positive. Remind yourself that this person is a soul too. Whatever thought you have for this person, look for a neutalizer(to counteract the effect of this poison) thought in silence for the same person.
So we say that healing happens in silence. It works, try it. Try really hard not to go back to negative thoughts about that person again after 2 days. It is hard work, I know it.
Silence helps us to go beneath the dust( negativity) so I can connect with the goodness of being ( which is love, happiness, knowledge, will power).
Try this meditation on choosing positive thoughts.
Sit in a comfortable pose.
Detach yourself from your body. You are who runs this body.
Watch your thoughts on the screen of your mind. Speed of it will slow the thoughts down.
I select my thoughts of peace. Peace is my natural state. Peace is within me. I am a being of peace. Let peace reach out to the world.
Peace peace peace.......
I am going back to my physical body and I keep peace with me.
