New year resolution

Human beings should be happy, peaceful, pure, loving, knowledgeable and with willpower. They shouldn't have moved away from these characteristics. If they are suffering, then it is a tragedy. Sufferings have can a ripple effect.

Make a resolution that you will keep yourself happy, light, content, loving soul. Remind yourself that you own these qualities and you will express them through this body.

What to do when NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR JOB

Do not go out and start looking for a job if you are not happy with your job.

Go within and change your inside first.
Make your inside happy, loving, peaceful. See what is going in and keep meditating to erase all the previous impressions and the more the inside is cleansed, then right things will get attracted and physical changes will take place.

Human beings have all the goodness within them. If I am in pain, I am not keeping my inside clean.
You do not have to change outside, you have to change your inside to be pain free.

How to maintain spirituality at work.

At work, it is 50% work and 50% is relationships. It is very important to develop good relationships with people at work.

When you meditate on a regular basis, it is hard to be surrounded by negativity. Walk away and have lunch date with your self or your soul.

Have positive thoughts in your mind and not to be influenced by the people around you.

Have a close relationship with your self and the supreme soul.

Ask supreme soul for guidance when you cannot figure it out.

Conflict, difference of opinion becomes easier to handle.

Love everyone, everyone is a soul. Souls have spots too.

We all have our karmas to follow. Respect others and not to gossip about others weaknesses as it will bring sorrow.

Near Death Experience

I read somewhere about the someone's soul was leaving the body , it went through the tunnel of darkness, saw flashes on the screen of the mind and at the end of the tunnel was light of love, unconditional. They get such good feelings that the people did not want to come back , but by chance when they come back, then they are transformed, not selfish and spend their life serving others.

Just serve others without going through this experience.

What destroys relationships?

Why do meeting family members is STRESS for some people?

Lack of care, acceptance of the choices they made of styleof living or religion, Love, lack of showing love destroys relationships. There is nothing wrong with having high expectations from children without putting too much pressure on. Parents should show them that they do care. Parent and child both should show love for each other.

Parents should demonstrate the values that they talk about. Sometimes parents say something but do something different.

Children should realize that parents are not God, they do make mistakes. They did their best.
Forgive your parents as they may have moved on.

If their abuse in the family, then it is hard, some people are easier to love from far or spend less time with them. Have good wishes for them from a distance. Accept them as they are.

Open your heart a bit more at family gatherings.

Proof that God exists?

It is hard to prove that God exists or soul exists but people can experiment and decide for themselves.

When I meditate and make connection with the supreme, I feel happy, peaceful and serenity within myself. That tells me that there is some energy that is doing its job of cleaning and healing and it is like a big Ocean of peace, happiness truth , purity. That is only one Supreme Soul.

That supreme never entered the physical body. He has all the wisdom and truth.
But when human soul entered the physical body, body took over and soul got distracted. Though the original basic qualities of the soul are love, pure, happiness.......no two souls or lives are same because of different elevation. It is like reading a book but we are on different chapters. Human soul can become deity soul ( Dev atma) if soul forgets all the negativity. Souls can be at different elevations too.

Tips to get into Meditation.

Always sit in a comfortable pose with your spine straight, on the floor, on a chair, be aware, if cannot, then lie down.

You can try with eyes open, by focusing on the tip of your nose or the middle of your forehead. If not, start with eyes closed.

Do it on a daily basis to see the effect. Morning and evening 15(5 to ) minutes twice a day. Evening can be gratitude time.

Results are based on what you put in. It is a journey, discover it by yourself.
Create a quiet space within yourself but try with a quiet room to start with.

It is like a baby plant, you are caring for it to help the plant grow.

With time, you get better and better. When you feel that everyday is a happy day, you are achieving it.
You have to make certain changes to your life style to empower your soul.
Everything you do affects the mind.

When you meditate, Consciousness shifts. Time you give to change your consciousness is very important.

Plant based diet is recommended but take your time.

See what works for you. you do not have to give up your family, life etc. Listen to your soul.

When you meditate in a group, increase experience exponentially. It helps to build vibrations in the room.

Power of Meditation.

According to Brahmakumaris, there are three aspects of the soul or the self are

Mind, Intellect, Impressions.

Thoughts arise in the mind, reasoning done by the intellect and impressions made and recorded there.
Impressions are your key to life. Your happiness or unhappiness lies in the impressions.
People say that they want peace of mind. They need to see what impressions they have that is causing unhappiness in their mind.

Mind picks up the impressions. Mind is your messenger of your impressions, no need to hit the messenger. It is like no need to hit the monitor when computer is not working.

In Meditation, you take the mind, intellect and awareness and try to change the experience.
Then you are no longer slave to your impression or records. We change the experiences.

Being aware that soul is the driver of your body will give me power. Knowing about myself will give me power. We should know how soul works, we all know how our body works.

Focus on love, peace , happiness etc, awareness of your soul will grow. People usually say that they want money etc, but before that they want peace, love , happiness etc.

Meditation has the power to bring happiness, love, peace, purity. Always focus on what you want.

How to get your energy back.

According to Dr. Oz

You need to up your feel great level and chemical level by keeping in mind the following

1. Fish oil................. 2 grams of per day.

2. Ribose.................500mg, 3 times a day, later increase to 5 grams 3 times a day. It is too sweet can be thought of it as a sugar substitute. It is a sugar made in the body but not metabolized as sugar, low in calories. It relieves soreness, stiffness and fatigue after exercise.

Using meditation to deal with loss of your job

Loss of job is money crises. Of course, you do have to look for another job because you do have to pay your bills. It may take time to find the right job. In the mean time, think about few things.

1. Where is my identity going to come from.
2. Where is my happiness going to come from( club fees, Starbucks coffee, golf fees, shopping...)

We do know that there are always ups and downs in life. But our needs are very little. There are WANTS and NEEDS. Learn the difference between the two.

We depend so much on external stuff for our happiness. This situation is forcing us to go within and look for happiness. It is like transformation time is here. It will force you to set your priorities straight.

As we all know that SOUL rules your body. Go within and quieten your mind and visit your soul.
Go within and make changes and get to know yourself. It is a long journey to get to know yourself. Internal faith keeps people going. Learn about the inner values that you are born with. Show gratitude for the awareness of yourself.

It is hard to start by your self. It is good to take a meditation class and work with a group. When many people meditate together, then it is easy because more advanced people are drawing the powers as well with you and you get the benefit as well. You get to know yourself better.

You were initially heart broken, then you learned about silence and now you have broken through the walls for something better. You may end up in a much better position than you were before.
Learn the inner world of wisdom. Meditate, meditate but keep looking for a job if you have not found one yet.

Mostly we look at the past experiences and form some impressions and draw some boundries, fears and and beliefs in our life. It may have restricted you in some way to go forward in your life. Past experiences did affect your life.

We are leading very busy lives that we do not realize the benefits of practicing silence.
Do meditation or practice stillness and silence on a regular basis to get clarification on your purpose of your life. Silence will create balance and harmony inside you, clear the mental chatter or background noises, allowing the inner wisdom to speak and guide you by stepping forward.
It will give you clarity on your purpose of life and inner guidance will direct you in the right direction to create the life you want.

Share your Affection

We all have good days and bad days. If you are having a good day, share your affection, love, peace and happiness with other people who are not feeling so great that day.

You can do that by being kind hearted, giving a hug to a close friend or family. You can buy a gift for no reason to celebrate friendship, call a friend or a family member who live at a distance to cheer them up. By spreading your happy mood, you spread lots of happy energy.

Try to spread the happy light around the lives of those around you by shifting the energy around in a positive way.

I Am Financially Successful but still unhappy

Mostly people measure success by what they own or job position they and the cars they drive. They are very proud of it and they should be. They are always bragging about their success in front of people which leads to making other people feel less successful. They may not be trying to do that intentionally but it has does affect people if this is what you do every time.

But to be really successful, we need to have successful in having
Health
Love
Happiness
Peace
Purity
Knowledge
and will power.

What good is all that financial success etc if you have no one to share with. You may have millions and no one even wants to know you.

We have to be successful in all areas of your life as mentioned above. We need to lead a balanced life. We can learn some lessons about how we got that success in financial area and try to apply to other areas too. Remember, it is energy, it can change from one form to another.

How to DeStress myself?

If you have your life in the fast lane and you cannot reduce your work load, practice to spend few minutes in stillness and silence which will allow you to empty your mind of all thoughts leaving you more energy and you will regain your focus.

Since quality and speed of thoughts affect mood, you may wish to say positive affirmations to yourself.

Try 1 minute meditation 4,5 times a day, it will destress you and restore your balance and you will produce more. Sitting in stillness and silence to connect with your inner qualities of love, peace and purity along with happiness will help you to work better and faster and you get to connect with your spirituality.

"I do not know what career I want to choose in my life" is a common question on students mind.

"I do not know what I want to be" is a question puzzles students a lot.

Ask first " What is the purpose of my life". Answer that first before you can find your career path.
Before we get into it, lets learn about the foods that generate thoughts.
There are 3 types of foods that we eat and it generate that kind of thinking too.

1. Sattavik food ( Best for yoga people to bring balance in the body, pure, highest quality food and increases the energy of the body). It is fresh cooked simple juicy food. No alcohol, meat, tea, coffee, onion, garlic. It produces highest refined thinking as well. People asks about their calling which is a highest level thinking.

2. Rajasik food (this food overstimulate the body). Food is fresh but heavy. Tea, coffee, onion, garlic, meat eggs etc. It produces action oriented passionate kind of thinking. It is like you want to be a big film star or a big politician, athletes etc.

3. Tamasik food ( tama means darkness, is the food for lazy people). Foods are not fresh and overcooked, stale , alcohol, tea. coffee, meat etc. It produces lowest level of thinking. It increase mood swings, heart diseases and diabetes.

Having passion is important but not the ultimate. Ultimate is our calling. Find your calling first then you choose your career otherwise you are not true to yourself.

To find your calling, you have to
1. Start talking to yourself about it and to others.
2. Write about it.
3. Go after it.
4. Learn to be a student. Calling can come at any time. Be ready and not sleepy about it.

Whatever I am call to do will make me live to the higher potential.


If the job you are doing is of your calling, then you will be tolerant of whatever you have to face.
Our purpose is to be happy and peaceful. Go within and learn to listen to the silence within.
Do not hold onto any negativity. Let go of the negativity and then you will attract the right job.

Trying hard to stay positive but ..........

We have accumulated lots of dirt from our previous lives that when we meditate and get over one layer of dirt , then we come across more dirt to uncover. Do not get discouraged.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.


Have faith in God. Sun will shine again. Have faith in things that you cannot see. You have all the qualities of Supreme soul as you are his child. Do not look at your weaknesses otherwise it will bring you down. Take a step forward, God will help you so many times more.

Use meditation even it is for few minutes a day to overcome the dirty layers of negativity. It will take time but you do see the fruits of your effort.

When we meditate and have connection with God, we are free from fear, worries and desires. We do not talk about others even behind their back.

Be happy no matter what happens.

Our inner nature is to be happy, pure, peaceful soul.

Only happy person can make others happy.

Learn to feel great, then we impart that happiness to others as well. This is another way we serve people by giving them happy energy. We connect with them, care about them by asking how are they. It gives happiness to both parties.

Dealing with "Anger"

As people start to get angry, their tone starts to go up. There is a message for the other person to walk away from this person before the explosion. It destroys relationships and peace and harmony of the house. People around you get sorrow from you. Angry people usually end up lonely or have trouble forming relationship with people. We all know that. Do not allow irritation to happen.

Since you realized that you have caused so much pain to people, people probably have walked away with scars, resolve by reestablishing the relationship on a different level because it may be hard to put the same relationship right.

Are you going to let this go on? Make a new year resolution. No more anger.

Transformation is possible but not overnight. Determination is required. Start now.
Sit in silence and meditate. Taste the fruit of it by being in silence 3,4 times a day. It will give you strength of keep going.
Remind yourself that you are a pure, peaceful, happy, loving soul. You may fall but get up and try again.

Financially sucessful but want more success

We are not content in our lives. But we want more. We have a car that takes us from one place to other but we want a better car. We have a house but want a bigger house. I want to dress better if I had more money.
It is a weakness that we are so attached to the cars. We are here to use them. Do not let them rule your consciousness. Use them but do not get attached to them.

We are not taking any money, house, bank balance with us once we die.

How would I communicate with the person of different culture?

Human spirit is the same but unique. Feelings are same for both genders, age etc.
Soul can communicate with soul without even making an eye contact. You can notice that within a mother and a child.

Regarding different cultures, your body is an instrument , you, the soul decides what to communicate with the other soul. Your soul is the master of your body, your physical senses. Soul has to take charge. Soul has to say what needs to be said and to stop when needs to stop. Some people love talking. Tongue does not know when to stop but soul( inner being) has to say to stop.

Driver of your body is your soul. Soul cannot fall asleep. If it does then you know what could happen. Awaken your soul. Apply this to food. Sometimes I like to eat desserts. My body does not know when to stop. But soul who drives my body should say NO if the soul is awake.

If soul is awake, the it will do the right things and say the right stuff and life will be content , happy.
Do not judge the person from his clothes but by his actions.

Your happiness should not depend on others actions.

We can only change ourselves not others. Sooner we learn that better it gets for us.

"Let it be" is another phrase we should learn. Let people learn the life lessons at their own pace but we parents do not want our children to make the same mistakes we made.

We take responsibility to change others by interfering in others life. We drain our energy telling others what they should do.

Parents want their children to do this or that so the parents can be happy. Same way for husband wife relationship as well. These are the relationships that are suffering the most. One is trying to control the other.

Why is he/ she behaving like that is a common concern or control.

Are we saying that our happiness should depend on our child's behaviour or so on sos behaviour, then you will never be happy. Parent is trying to change the child to make themselves happy. There is lot of controlling goes on by the parent in child's life to change childs personality. Parent controlling the child might create the distance in the relationship. Show them by role modelling if you want them to learn something. Remember they have their karma to follow.
They have their own journey.

But happiness is inside us. We are born with happiness except it is covered with some dust, so meditate to remove the dirt.

Our job is to take care of our children's soul, clothe them, guide them ,look after them but not control them.

There is a generation gap between the child and the parent. If there is disagreement, say your concerns and give your reasons. Be willing to accept, then there is energy flow and keep the communication open and parents should be willing to hear and accept the truth. Do not create walls in the relationships. Stubbornness and resistance can enter very quickly. Things can change slowly but do it lovingly and happily.

Be a mentor, let people be the way they want to be. Every soul has its journey to follow.
Change yourself, do not try changing others lives.

Why am I running all the time?

We live in the fast lane these days and it is not normal to do nothing. "I am busy" is a very common thing you hear.

Do I know what I want? Yes, I do but I still keep running.
"Am I going in the right direction" to get what I want?
You get a lot but but it changes with time like
Marks, job, money, house, children, happiness, love , peace
"What Do I want" stop and ask from time to time.
You do get it but make sure you get it with happiness, peace and love surrounding you.
Happiness is not the destination, it is a journey.
Fun is in having a happy journey.

Why are some people workoholic?

Some people work nonstop and not relax. They say that it relaxes them.

They should ask , " What would happen if they relax their expectations of their work ethics"

Would things fall apart or
would they continue the way things are now or
someone can come and replace them.
They have strong morals and they should reflect the reasons behind their work ethics.

Understand the rationale behind your work ethics may help you to be more effective and healthy human being.

We usually work because we are passionate about it and we love doing it. We work for the genuine motive not for others.

How to protect myself from the negativity of the world?

Say you meditate everyday and you have seen changes within yourself, but now you do not want to get caught in the negativity that is around you,

BE PEACEFUL, LOVING, PURE....that you are, work with your values. Respect yourself then you can give respect to others. Be pure and peaceful so you can share with the people you come in contact with.

If I am empty inside, then I want to be acknowledged. It is our need.

If you feel that no one gives you respect, try giving it first and then see what happens.

Create peaceful atmosphere around you

Create peaceful atmosphere so other souls have a feeling of belonging.
Atmosphere is created by the attitude you hold and the words you speak.
Words have depth when head and heart are aligned.
If you are doing it because your head is ok with it but the heart is not open.
Try to align the two by understanding and making things clear, then heart opens.
Fakeness finishes and that happens with spiritual effort. We embrace reality.
Then comes self respect etc.

How do I respect myself?

When we look within us, there is a conflict going on between our

inherited basic values of love and

painful emotions or the baggage you are carrying from before and

conscious

(i.e I am hurt and I remember pain but I cannot give love but conscious says it is right you should be giving love)

Meditate.

Meditation is a process of cleansing those negative feelings to know the difference between good and bad. . Emotions are a strong force.



We have moved from values.
We should acknowledge values/ ethics / goodness more rather we say whatever is right for you, go ahead and do it.
Values are correct or not, should be acknowledged.

Then you begin to love and respect yourself. I should know who I am.
There should be unity and harmony inside me otherwise mind, intellect and personality can go all over the place.

Chanting, listening to religious music can bring you temporary peace etc, but to respect yourself, follow the voice of conscious and your positive thoughts. Quality of respect will grow if

thinking,
speaking and
doing
is aligned for self respect. Do not ignore inner voice.
This was the message of Mahatma Gandhi.

Happiness and Sadness is inside us.

We spend lot more time at work than at home. Coworkers give us lots of reasons to be unhappy.
You come home and your weekend is spoiled sometimes. They themselves are doing lots of external things like going to a party, play golf, see a movie to be happy. But happiness and sadness is inside us.
It is our birthright to be happy. We are all souls, loving, pure, happy etc... We are all connected. It is when we come in the physical body, we look different, caste different and religion too.

Happiness and sadness is inside us. We do not need to look for happiness outside. Look within and listen to the silence within.

Maintain good feelings in the mind. Follow path and actions for the good of yourself and others.
Giving always bring happiness. Be in the company of God and remember that there is always something new happening and it is always for our benefit.

If some family member made us sad and we hold on to it , then we are trapped in the sadness. Forgive and forget to be free yourself. It will be generous of you to do that.

If we want to teach other lesson, then role model the good path. Forcing will not help.
