Before eating, we need to ask ourselves
Am I physically hungry.....
emotionally hungry..
spiritualy hungry?
Sometimes we eat to alleviate boredom, lonliness, depressed or celebration, party. This is comfort eating ( blame yourself after that because you were not hungry)
When we eat , we our mind gets relief from feeling the feelings. Then our intention goes on weight gain etc. It is a distraction from facing the real feelings.
Keep record of your feelings at different time of the day. Sometimes old family unresolved issues or patterns can trigger the old eating pattern.
Addiction to food is that our INNER CHILD WANT ATTENTION.
During the day, ask
What do I really want.
Will food give me what I want.
What Do I really want.
What is the real need.
Is this my spiritual/physical/emotional need?
Try giving up sugar.
Exercise.
Connect with other souls.
